UPDATE: I still have this truck as of 6/20/2024. It has over 105,000 miles on it now. It does burn some oil between oil changes roughly 1.5 to quarts over 5,000 miles. I now change the oil more frequently when the OLM gets to 30%. This is around 5,000 miles on the oil change interval. Truck still runs file, and has plenty of power and fuel mileage is still good. Changing the oil on the GM Turbomax L3B engine is really simple, can be done in your driveway in just a few minutes. See below for important specs and part numbers.
